Brand Showcase:

Balticus Watches

Founded in 2015 by Polish brand owner Bartosz Knop, Balticus Watches aims to merge exotic materials, unique textures and high-quality manufacturing into timepieces that are extremely versatile, yet create conversations in an instant.

One interesting aspect about Balticus timepieces is the use of alternate finishing on their cases. Alternate finishing requires a well thought-out plan, exceptionally intricate attention to detail and lots of time and effort spent on each facet of the watch. In turn, this pays off by producing a high contrast watch case that reflects light in a beautiful way.

Balticus Stardust: A dressy but also sporty watch with an Aventurine dial, creating a shimmering effect that changes according to the light and angle and is synonymous with a galaxy. Aventurine is a type of natural goldstone commonly seen on high end luxury pieces due to its rarity and difficulty in machining.

Most Balticus watches curated by Watch Wonderland run on Japanese Miyota mechanical movements, which are famed for their reliability, ease of regulation and being great alternatives to Swiss-Made equivalents. In their largely utilitarian watches that are made for wearing on a daily basis, no corners are cut in the thoughtfulness of his products as most of them come with additional straps or bracelets. In fact, some of the models even come with watch boxes that can double up as alternative storage for your personal items.

Balticus is known to produce watches in very small batches, which means they sell out pretty fast. In addition, Bartosz has been in constant contact with members of the automotive industry and car enthusiast clubs like the Poland Mustang Club, working closely with them in design elements of his watches and developing limited edition runs. His network also consists of material artists, so if you would like your Balticus watch custom-engraved or encrusted with diamonds, he may be able to find a solution for you!

Balticus Grey Seal: A utilitarian, compressor-style diver watch with two crowns—one to operate the internal rotating bezel for timing dives and decompression stops and the other to set the time. The Grey Seal has a 3D wave-textured dial, comes in a variety of colors and looks great both under the suit, as well as a weekend trip to the beach.

Watch Wonderland is proud to be a curator and retailer of Balticus watches. You may find them in both our physical and online store. Being watches that look better on person than in photographs, do pop by our fresh new concept in November and experience them on your own wrist!
